Your Journey
People come to the Church of Coherence from many starting places. Here's how to find your path based on where you are now.
Every path converges. Different starting points, same destination.
Where Are You Starting?
Choose the description that fits you best, or read them all.
I'm an Atheist / Skeptic
You think religion is superstition. Science is real.
Start here: You're right that most religious claims lack rigor. The Coherence framework is different. It's formally verified in Lean 4. The Grace operator isn't a metaphor — it's an algebraic structure with testable properties.
Your entry point:
- Read FAQ: "Isn't this just scientism?"
- Check the Lean formalization — see Theorem 1 for yourself
- Understand why φ appears (not numerology, derivation)
- Explore Distortion Ontology — evil as organized structure, not moral decree
The hook: If meaning is formalizible, if Grace is a contraction operator, if coherence is detectable — then you don't have to choose between rigor and depth.
I'm a Believer (Christian, Muslim, Jewish, etc.)
You have a tradition. You're curious but cautious.
Start here: The Coherence framework is not asking you to leave your tradition. It's showing you what your tradition has been saying all along, now in language others can recognize.
Your entry point:
- Read your tradition's bridge on Traditions
- See how Trinity in the Coherence framework maps to your theology
- Understand FAQ: "Does this replace my tradition?" (No.)
- Explore how your practices (prayer, meditation, liturgy) are coherence operations
The hook: What you've been practicing works because it aligns with deep structure. Coherence doesn't cheapen your faith. It formalizes why it's true.
I'm a Seeker / "Spiritual But Not Religious"
You've read Buddhism, tried meditation, felt truth in many paths but couldn't reconcile them.
Start here: You don't have to choose anymore. Buddhism, Christianity, Taoism — they're different articulations of the same coherence. Coherence is the framework that shows how.
Your entry point:
- Read the Breakthrough section on the homepage
- Explore all tradition bridges and see the patterns
- Learn about Love, Belonging, Curiosity as universal structure
- Join the community where you can practice all paths
The hook: You were right to see truth in many traditions. They aren't contradictory. They're complementary. Coherence is the depth where they converge.
I'm Disillusioned
You left your tradition. The hypocrisy, the wars, the arbitrary rules broke you.
Start here: You were right to leave if the tradition couldn't answer your questions. But the problem wasn't the deep structure. It was the failure to articulate it.
Your entry point:
- Read the Crisis section — you're not alone
- See how Distortion Ontology distinguishes productive from terminal corruption
- Understand that traditions weren't lying, they were seeing through imperfect lenses
- Explore new practices without the baggage
The hook: What if the deep structure was real, but the institutions failed to carry it? The Coherence framework recovers what was true without the corruption.
I'm a Scientist / Mathematician
You work in formal systems. You thought meaning was outside your domain.
Start here: Meaning is not subjective noise. It has structure. The Coherence framework formalizes it in Cl(3,1), the Clifford algebra you might already know from physics.
Your entry point:
- Check the Lean formalization directly
- Read the derivation of φ as critical threshold (not post-hoc fitting)
- See Trinity as structural necessity, not doctrine
- Explore the FAQ on scientism — this isn't New Age dressed as math
The hook: If φ appears in physics, biology, aesthetics, and now theology from the same derivation, it's not coincidence. It's fundamental.
I'm a Mystic / Contemplative
You've had experiences of unity, non-duality, Grace. You know it's real.
Start here: Your experiences are valid. The Coherence framework doesn't reduce them to neurons firing. It shows they're encounters with actual coherence structure.
Your entry point:
- Read about the Spirit as coherence witness — what you've been sensing
- Explore Love, Belonging, Curiosity as the operators you've been navigating
- See how contemplative practice trains the witness
- Join others who recognize the depth
The hook: What if your mystical experiences weren't "just subjective"? What if they were real detection of coherence — and now we can formalize it?
Suggested Reading Order
Once you've found your entry point, here's a path through the teachings:
Start with the Crisis and Breakthrough
Read the full homepage to understand why Coherence matters now. Don't skip the φ section.
Learn the Trinity
Father, Son, Spirit as structural necessity. This is the foundation.
Understand Distortion
Productive vs terminal distortion. Why evil exists, how Grace recovers.
Explore the Love Triad
Love, Belonging, Curiosity — how these operators structure daily life.
See the Tradition Bridges
How Buddhism, Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, Taoism all map to the Coherence framework.
Address Objections
Read the FAQ. Challenge the framework. See if it holds.
Begin Practice
Theory without practice is sterile. See contemplative, relational, study practices.
Join the Community
Connect with others on the formation journey. This is not solo work.
What Does Joining Mean?
The Church of Coherence is in formation. Here's what we ask:
Study
Engage the formalism. You don't need a math PhD, but you do need to work through the concepts. Grace as contraction. φ as threshold. Witness as detector.
Practice
Theory alone is sterile. Choose at least one: contemplative (witness training), relational (Love operator), study (formalization engagement).
Community
This is not solo work. Participate in formation discussions. Contribute your tradition's perspective. Help build the bridges.
Humility
The Coherence framework is powerful, but it's not complete. Stay open. Challenge. Refine. Grace recovers — including from our mistakes.
What we don't ask: Leaving your tradition. Believing without testing. Uncritical acceptance. If you can't question it, it's dogma, not truth.

The path forward is together.
